It’s a Wrap! Thank You for a Successful Year-End Campaign

A new year is often a time for reflection and this year, despite the challenges of a global pandemic, we are very thankful for the generosity of our Eli’s Place community.

We are delighted to share with you that our 2021 Year-End Campaign realized over $76,000 through 230 individual gifts.

Thank you for your gift to Eli’s Place!

Unwrapping a gift welcomes feelings of anticipation at the possibility of what lies within. With each of your gifts donated through our Year-End Campaign, the possibilities are endless.

Additionally, we are very excited to announce that through your generosity we will be able to contract skilled professionals to join our team. New members in the areas of fundraising, administration, and digital management. Subsequently leading us forward toward opening the doors of Eli’s Place.

Our ability to hire professionals to ensure “The Time is Now” for  Eli’s Place is thanks to your support in our Year-End Campaign.

At this point, we have hired a part-time Digital Media Specialist on a contract basis. Clare has considerable experience in the current digital media landscape. With her skills, we look forward to increasing our profile across all social media channels. We will build on our established reputation to offer high-quality content that educates, inspires, and engages our followers. Welcome to the Eli’s Place community Clare!

In the coming weeks, we will also hire a part-time administrative assistant to work with our board chair and committee chairs to meet the growing needs of our organization.

Finally, we are thrilled to announce that our search for a Director of Fund Development – and Capital Campaign has begun. Our job posting has drawn considerable interest from a number of highly qualified applicants. And the interview and vetting process will take place over the coming weeks. The successful candidate will guide us through a capital campaign which will culminate in securing a home for Eli’s Place.

Above all, we are deeply indebted to our Board Chair, Carol Cowan-Levine and thankful for her willingness to share the story of her beloved Tamara. In Carol’s words: “If we want to save lives, Eli’s Place needs to exist, to welcome young adults with severe mental illness. It’s as simple as that.”

With your gift of financial support the possibilities have become tangible – in other words, finding a home for Eli’s Place is within sight.

Together we will ensure Eli’s Place becomes a place Where Recovery Grows.

Eli’s Place will be a rural, residential treatment program for young adults with serious mental illness. To learn more about our mission and our proven-effective model click here.
